By "Hyer Boy hey girl, and the bandage they are holding, Iassume the character is either trans or just wishes to appear like a boy.

It's actually a combination of two names since neither me nor the commissioner could settle on whether to call it just Hey boy or Hey Girl. She's either addressing the viewer or the viewer is addressing her.
Who knows though, she could be trans. It's great that it's becoming accepted these days~

I used Maya 8.5 to 3d model the background and Photoshop CS3 to paint it.
