Legend: Once more to Egypt’s brutal yet breathtaking desert, Isabella Falcon took the reigns of a chariot and faced the dangers of the desert with her favourite feline companion, Faith. Yet this time she’d changed Faith’s driving partner and hitched her up beside Murcielago, a cat belonging to another yet gratefully allowed to be borrowed for this race. Faith respected the tan street cat and so when hitched they ran like clockwork, long legs eating up the hot sand. Yet Isabella would not rest at every stop, pushing these cats to their limits, pushing on through the cold desert nights. The cats, protected by fur, raced on, the cold bite of the cloudless desert kissing only their driver’s skin as they flew past structures that drew they eye for their odd, rib cage form that in a few centuries would be degraded to dust or swallowed by the desert as all who perish here are. Red glinting off the cats fur as from the black void above a blood moon rises, awe inspiring and chilling in its slow, deliberate ascent, casting its eerie glow over the Falcon chariot.
