Personality:

Cold: Like the element he controls, Yukito can be very cold, not caring about others’ feelings. He can come off as very rude and blunt as well, getting straight to the point. He doesn’t like wasting time with people he doesn’t care about, so it’s normal for him to be curt and dismissive.
Vocal: Though cold and usually aloof, Yukito expresses his thoughts without restraint. He’ll speak his mind as he wishes, and usually won’t filter out his words. If he thinks something is wrong or stupid, he’ll say so, and will expect it to change.
Logical: Yukito wastes no time ignoring other’s feelings, or his own. He deems emotions to be faulty and always resorts to a logical way of thinking, refusing to acknowledge the emotional aspect of anything.
Level-Headed: Even in a chaotic situation, Yukito always remains calm and focused, dealing with everything sensibly rather than going into a state of distress. He’s very good at dealing with stress, and doesn’t let much get to him.
Moral: Yukito, though brutally honest, would never intentionally want to ruin someone’s day. Even if most of what he says can be mean, he does give compliments out just as freely if something exceptional stands out to him. He also dislikes doing anything wrong or evil, as long as it’s determined as a bad thing by him.

Background:

Yukito was raised by Yukimi Hyousetsu after having been found abandoned in the snowy mountains. She took him in, not having the heart to leave him alone, and wondered where he came from. He seemed to have lost his memories though, so it was difficult to track down his parents, or even find out what his name was. Not wanting him to be confused or scared, she made up an identity for him as her son. He accepted it, even if he seemed very tentative and quiet, as if he didn’t care much about anything.

The woman found it odd how he reacted, but refrained from explaining his situation any further. She got him accustomed to her work and quickly involved him in the business world, figuring he’d be helpful to her in one way or another. She was surprised by how quickly he picked up a talent for makeup, and let him explore the field as much as he wanted, and watched as he became more fleshed out in the way he acted.

It was nice to have around a constant small company, but Yukimi knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to keep him around her without any knowledge on the world. He wanted to expose himself to the outside world too, though they weren't sure as to how to handle the situation. It wasn't until Yukito got a letter one day, specifically for him, that they found a solution-- Whether he liked it or not.
