Slipping into a parallel universe...

There was once, before I got/stole my camera, I used to see phantoms whenever there was

a blank wall, a dark corner, or just an empty space.

Spirits like high places, I am aware, like me.

It's the way distance stretches before you like infinity, boundless and

possible fatal.

It's the chance that you could take that slip

and not fall

It's Death by your side, whispering into your ear all your dead hopes and dreams.

Only when you're a ghost, it dosen't matter I suppose.

Anyhow, it's how it brings you a little closer to heaven (further and closer to fire)

She was one of the phantoms I saw and looking at her now, I wonder what she was thinking, spreading her arms like that, a smile playing on her face. Did she think she could fly, despite being stuck on the ground?

We're not so different after all, are we

my ghosts and me?

When green fades into white,

as darkness fades into shades of gray,

so reality fades

into

oblivion
