Not many people can appreciate this aesthetic... It's a very subtle, penetrating beauty. It took me some time to fully appreciate it XD.

And yes, ~velvetiine has lovely hair o_o. She appears to me as a white cat- perhaps that's why she has such lovely hair ^^.
I moved to Canada recently so I can no longer kidnap her, unfortunately...

(btw, I have very curly hair too so I think I can completely understand your predicament XD It's a very strange thing, being sort-of-asian-human with curly hair x_x. And no, I don't look like either )

Canada...my,hope that's fun?.....yes,I feel people have animal souls sometimes....it's why my little kitty sig is black with a little inner white cat,lol...it's a comment on my perception of self,

I understand when you don't-fit-teh-mould...unsurprisingly,neither do I....I have a very mixed bg[politely called a *mongrel*]...and most of my prettiest friends are exotic mixtures,[Melbourne is a very multi-cultural city]...I have a friend who is Burmese/English/Scottish,and last time we were out I was asked if I was part-Asian because of my hair...but she wasn't[I took it as a compliment,I would die for rain-straight black hair...*sigh*...sadly mine requires a bit of fudging on my part,]...but it's amusing to keep our fellow [wholly -human] beings guessing?

Canada... is not really fun. Mediocore, yes. The world's soul here is lethargic and more often than not turns a lazy, indifferent eye to us cat-souls. ON the bright side, it's forcing me to create my own world rather than seek out secrets by the edge XD (travelling to US helps. Yayee magic-coincidences! XD)

Bene here is actually white with a black patch on her ear , whereas I see myself as a black cat with a white patch on my chest. Yin and Yang? XD

I have a very strange, mixed background, too . Unfortunately, I have no idea what mix that is, but I know my relatives as I see them at present definitely aren't very orthodox both in appearance, circumstances or personality

I always thought the classic asian-type was more subtly beautiful than most caucausian types XD. Perhaps it's the somewhat unhuman-'doll' factor... Oh, and I'll love to see a picture of you XDD

It seems to me to describe an inward emotion..reflected in outward appearance,even though it's nor super-slick...a natural beauty
Canada doesn't sound like a hotbed,but yes..we artists can turn inwards and feed our souls
...*gives Bene and you a hug*..my oldest cat is a calico...she has a litle shape like a black heart on her chest,it's very cutely[she's a minx,lol]

On cats, have you read Baudelaire's poems on the subject? I think they articulate our nature better than anyone else has >.<. The french are all cats, after all. Funny, a cat writing about a muse-cat XP.

As for 'fresh' perspective, I have to say you do the same. Your comments always bring out the depth in my work that my subconscious weaves in after I walk away nonchalantly upon finishing things (and I tend to layer upon layer of meanings without realizing it >.<, so thank you . Did I mention you're always a delight to talk to?

well,I always enjoy discovering find fresh delights through your eyes....it's wonderful to be able to see your work filtered through other people's consciousness....your layers add mystery and intrigue....and there is still a kernel of hidden truth to ponder over once the layers are brushed aside....
