I brought you flowers.

It was black, then. Black as night, as hearts, as the back of her mind. There were words, too. Words, uttered dark and savoury, that poured down her veins like honey to her heart. She gulped them hungrily, drunk after a too-long drought.

He appeared then in a shock of light and, like the creator of the world, he observed her musingly and smiled a Cheshire cats grin.

“It is good.”

This was partially inspired by that top thing I wrote in Seattle (the only thing that took a coherent shape. The rest were too engrossed in their conversations to pay heed to me). I'm usually wary of putting up my prose writings -my true and original passion, actually- because they are mostly moments, captured in the slight of a shadow, or frozen in mid-flight by me. But because this fits yet does not at all, here you go.

Drawing is, a lot of time, a tangible method I use to exploring my world and its inhabitants- a little like taking photographs. It's not so common I actually take the time to reveal the landforms of my world, so here is a glimpse, a glimpse of a cat's world... Oh, and since this is the first time I'm actually 'illustrating' anything, I appreciate any comments/intepretations. I'm always curious to see your intepretations ^^.
