I'm walking alone in
this world of ours,
no one here but me,

I'm as sad,
as one could ever be;
because I am
here alone.

There's people all around,
I hear their chatter,
and meaning-less talk.
And feel...
ignored.

I feel empty,
just an empty shell.
Only an image
of what life
looks like.

Then...
I think of you,
and my heart leaps.
I feel happy,
and....wanted.

I feel lively, and joyous,
just knowing that you care
I know that you are with me
until the end of time.
