Day 7 of #obscutober : Paroxysm 🌊 >a sudden attack or outburst of a particular emotion or activity.The emotion I chose was frustration, mixing both anger and sadness (cuz honestly it's one of the most easiest emotions to portray)
This was stepping into new territory, I've never really drawn anyone (let alone realistically) so expressively angry. And I realised as I keep drawing more of these, I grow more comfortable tackling the nose and lips
(not perfect but getting there!) Often times sudden outbursts could be from bottling something up for too long. When it finally explodes out, it's so powerful and strong it's just overwhelming and, sometimes literally, you can drown in it. So, what better way to portray this than waves! 😀 Lesson of the day, don't bottle your emotions. Tell someone, let it out!
