Description Iiiiiiiii got my new lennnnnns like a few minutes ago. I am learning to use it!
It goes like WAPOW, I am detailing your close-up shots!

This is my smallest gecko, Tostada. His head is MAYbe an inch long, his eye is possibly a matter of millimeters wide.

(He is actually sleeping in this picture. I turned the lights on for the lightbox and he went "zzzzzz.")

Tostada is one of many crested geckos. You can read up on the group here: [link]

what mm lens did you use? Wondering because I would like to get this close a shot but I have a 105mm and I guess that was not the right one to invest in, so im wondering what you used here

oh boy....you may be adding fuel to the fire of my wanting to get a new gecko or two...or three. This would only add to my fine collection of reptiles, terrapins, and tortoises...oh, and the cat and the boyfriend. Oh...the temptation...

Macro lens + Lizards = wayyy too many photo opportunities lol

I use the 100mm canon macro, but I'm really impressed with the results of the 60mm
