This is the little piece that made *NycterisA say "I am glad you're not God." Basically because I enjoy making sad things XDThis tiny little dragonling just really, really needs to be picked up. Hold him and make him happy
He is polymer clay, baked, and painted with a black base. He was then coated in Pearl-Ex powders (which Nyc pointed out to me in the store this weekend) - shimmering violet on his body, and a light gold on his eyebrows, wings, toenails, and inside his drooping ears. His spikes and horns are coated in pretty glitter that came from Nyc. He was then triple-glazed. His eyes are 8mm cabochons that also came from Nyc!
Truly NycterisA-inspired, though you won't generally find her being sad

the really sad thing is that even if you hold him and cuddle him and try to make him feel better, he will still have the same pathetically heart-wrenching sad face that he has always had, no matter how joyous and comforted he may feel on the inside

And yet, no matter how much love you give it, it remains sad. Which makes it all so much sadder.
Seriously, the eyes really make this work. And by that I mean the look of the cabochons combined with the eyelids. Also, you did a great job of not letting the sad look merely emo.
