Welp, I finally put together my Very Rare Inkdrian. Truth is, I actually planned on doing something very different with it originally, but I liked this idea better and I was able to properly expand the world’s lore with it.
Anyway, enjoy.

Story

At a first glance one would assume Lloyd to be just a young adult, barely pushing 19, however he is a powerful guardian spirit of Mystic Woods.

To the west of Estreka City, lies a woodland that spreads farther than Fairy Forest. The trees are of a strange color of silver with leaves that come in all colors, it is Mystic Woods. Mystic Woods is a sacred place for spirits and many reside within it.
The woods themselves are made of trees that grow from the roots of Yggdrasil, the Mother Tree and the most powerful seedrian goddess.
She is a massive tree of glistening colors, whose roots were said to wrap around the world. Places where these roots prosper results in places like Mystic Woods, sacred forests and woodlands that are guarded by her children.

One such child is Lloyd, as he is the guardian spirit of Mystic Woods. His power overshadows many of the spirits that live within his woods, he even has an ancient ability that has almost been long forgotten; Mover Mode.
This has come to make him known as the “Rose Dragon” to some people outside the woods.

Mortals fear him for his power and being a child of Yggdrasil, while the spirits treat him with high regard and respect.
Well… Most.

The “Spirit of Blooming Flowers”, one of the heralds of spring, has gotten close to Lloyd. She enjoys being in his company and somewhat treats him like a kid, which he technically is as he is one of the younger children.
Lloyd does not see this as disrespectful, but rather feels comfortable by her as she does not see him superior to the others, but someone of equal ground.
Even if she can get a bit too annoying at times.

Personality
______________

Lloyd is quiet and usually keeps to himself. He finds comfort in his thoughts and the books he reads. He is often found daydreaming and looking towards the sky.

Lloyd personally feels a bit isolated due to the spirits seeing him as a powerful Child of Yggdrasil, most feeling they are not worthy of his presence. This frustrates him as he personally does not feel like someone special, he just feels like a kid.
What doesn’t help is that he doesn’t really protect the woods much. Many mortals know the woods are forbidden to hunt in, many are also too afraid to enter. His mere existence keeps the woods alive and well, and as a result he is often lost in his daydreams having nothing in particular to do.

When he isn’t blankly gazing towards the horizon on a tall tree as he daydreams, he’s reading books that one of the spirits of the woods collects. He loves books as it feels like a portal to the outside world.

But when something does happen, Lloyd quickly knows through the whispers of the trees. Even though most of the time he looks like a child stuck in his daydreams, when confronting a threat he is fierce and ferocious, his eyes burning with wrath.
He will use his power to take care of the threat, and depending on the level of severity, he may start to change his form through Mover Mode.

• The name “Choilleich” means “Guards the Forest”, all of Yggdrasil’s children hold this name and many can recognize it.
• Lloyd means “Grey Haired” but also “Sacred”.
• In the Phantasia AU, “Mover Mode” is considered a long-forgotten power that seedrians once held, the newer generations being born without it. Some still hold its power, but many do not. Mover Mode also does not kill the user and the transformation is reversable for both male and female.
• Lloyd’s off body markings that stem from his arms and back are capable of being tentacle-like appendages. It can lift things and hit things.
• Lloyd has one of the original Life Stones. These stones were originally used to contain the power of Mover Mode, to prevent the wearer from using it. However, in modern day Novarae, the design is repurposed into good luck charms with many not remembering its origins.
• Lloyd likes to place his stone on his crown, which is one of his off-body markings. He takes it off whenever he needs Mover Mode.
• Lloyd’s favorite book genre is fantasy adventure, funnily enough.
• The reasoning behind Lloyd’s blue roses was that I was trying to think of something “mythical” for him.
