Say hello to a new character!
She's a character that I have adopted. Yeah, yeah, I know I keep saying I'm not the type to adopt because I have a strong sense of creative freedom. But I just so happened to come across an adoption page that had characters still available. I just spent a minute looking at the lovely inkdrians but the green one kept catching my eye. Since they were free, as long as you gave them a proper gradient, I decided to adopt the very lovely girl.

This is not a really good picture... But the girl was just lovely, even though I already have a green girl of my own.
Anyway, enough rambling, I'm gonna now give the description I have given this young inkdrian.
She's another addition to Arborville! ^^

Melody is a young inkdrian girl who lives in a wealthy family. They live in a slightly higher class home in Arborville in the wealthy side of the neighborhood. Melody is an aspiring Violinist, and loves to play gentle melodies with the stings of her custom made Violin.
Before moving to Arborville, Melody lived a rather sheltered life. She didn't go outside much and didn't really have friends other than her violin teacher.

But when they moved to a more community-driven area, Arborville, she has been tempted to go outside more by the children who live next door. One day, she was suddenly stricken with a desire to go outside, she had no particular reason but just to go on a walk. That's when she ended up going to the average part of the neighborhood, she ended up bumping into Louis. She was very interested in his current outfit, which was frilly of course. Not wanting any part of such an excitable girl, Louis started walking to another direction. The young girl however just ended up following him, but she was tired from her walk and ended up tripping and tearing her precious dress on the side-walk. Melody started to panic and seeing this poor girl Louis sighed and took Melody to his home where he fixed her dress. He had done such a great job that It looked good as new.
And that is when a friendship had formed between the two.

After that event Melody often visited the neighborhood, coming across Lime and Celia. She even eventually crossed paths with Jill who scared her off. And then finally she met Jeff, who she started to admire a little. She was fascinated with his "way of life" and would like to listen to him rattle on about it, but most of all she loved hearing him play music.

Melody is an excitable young girl who loves to listen to stories that people have to tell and to learn new things that are outside of her home. Of course, she still practices hard on her violin, but she never takes her custom made one out of the house, except for recitals.
Melody has a bit of child-like innocence and is a tad naive, she's always bright-eyed and willing to listen to what a person has to say.

Okay, as for how she got her gradients, I'm just gonna copy-paste what I had written down for her adoption.

Spring Green- Her first gradient, it was earned when she listened to music for the first time. Though she earned it at a young age, the profound effect of the gentle music that played had given her the first gradient.

Pastel Yellow- Her second gradient, it was earned when she played her first violin. Though it was hard to hold at first since she was so young when she finally managed to hold it in place she went and played her first note which excited her to the point to earn a gradient, despite it being a sour note.

Neon Green- Her third gradient, this one was earned rather recently It was earned when she performed her first solo in the school band's performance. Having all eyes on her as she delicately played her instrument filled her with numerous emotions, so intense that she gained her final gradient.

- Melody is the first inkdrian I have adopted.

- It was later that I have realized that her gradient is similar to that of Lime's. *shrug*

- Her first name is very obviously related to her being a violinist, her last name is from Brunswick Green, a dark shade of green.

- She loves her frilly dresses and always wears nice clothing, even her nightwear looks lovely

- The marking on her legs are also on her arms, but you can't see them because of her sleeves

- She has a similar water tolerance to that of Jill (Which is a high tolerance to those who don't know Jill)

- Melody is currently learning how to make clothes with Louis

- Her flower was originally non-specific, but after looking up flowers with similar traits (again), I came across the azalea.
