Oh my, I'm so excited right now
I've waited such a long time to show you all my very first official finished Illustration from my upcoming children's book!
It's a epic moment 
I hope you like it!medium: acrylics on 11,81 x 23,62 inch (30 x 60 cm) canvas.
Let me introduce you the characters The shining star of my book is on the left side. This little sheep is
LENON
! 
He's up to find new friends!The sheep beneath Lenon is LUM-LUM . Well, he looks really special
And he don't go anywhere without his sock over his ear 
The turtles name is FINN. He's a little scary animal-kid
But he's a wonderful friend.Upon Finn's head is the little snail-girl NINI. She's tiny and the only girl, but she has the same big part within that great circle of friends. She love's to sit on Finn's head or shell.
And last but not least: The cute dog SAM ! His dad is the watchdog of the farm. But he don't really care about and loves to play with the sheeps and other animal-kids on the farm. He love's to have fun and to explore everything.

really great job. One question, if this was done on a canvas how did you get such a clear picture of it onto your computer and then into the book? Sorry, I'm really intrigued by the whole process

It was scanned with a really big and really expensive scanner, called "Cruse". It was scanned in a special Scan-Company.

Der Hauptchara ist ja Lenon. Er zieht mit seinen Eltern auf eine neue Farm. Doch er sucht vergeblich nach neuen Freunden. Aber dann gibt es doch ein Happy End und er sieht das Freunde manchmal näher sind, als man denkt. Ich berichte bald noch ausführlicher drüber
