It reminds of of Mackintosh and Margaret MacDonald's paintings, myself. It really made me think of "Harvest Moon", somehow. It's wonderful.

Thanks a lot. I'm glad you like it. It was actually inspired by Mucha, but I'm flattered by the references.

This is beautiful - so elegant and - well - simply beautiful. The colours are lovely, and fit perfectly with the iris in the background. Its wonderfully reminiscent of Art Nouveau and especially, I think, Tiffany.

Thanks! I do like Tiffany glass a lot and although it wasn't necessarily on my mind at the time, it does fit with it nicely. I'm glad you like!

No probs I've finally remembered the word I wanted to use to describe your picture in the first place - luminous - it really is

Thank you for such kind words! I do appreciate it.

I do know of that artist, but not very well, and I'm not able to find much on the internet that shows a large picture. Any ideas?

I enjoy your work too. I was just going through your gallery and I'm impressed! This picture in particular fascinates me: [link] Your background is beautifully done and I love the expression on her face. Lovely work overall!

I never noticed this before, but I really enjoy the positioning of their hands. Quite delicate in the linework there. Good translucency in the foreground character's wings, but I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of veins or patter on the wings. I like how the background was beginning to get dark in that central spot there, but wish it happened in more of the background. *lighting*! I think a little more modelling and definition in the flowers would be nice. I miss the hair, which was my favorite part of this piece, too bad about the scan. Your detail in this one is exquisite.

Oh, you know me and my lighting...it needs work and I *may* get a little lazy sometimes. Also, I was pressed for time in doing this, so I never really finished it. It is annoying about the scan! Her hair is my favorite part because of those fun swirls and flowers in there. Thanks for the comment about their hands.

That's rather suggestive. How salacious!
