Your absolutely welcomed! I wholeheartedly agree and just the constrast of her beautiful blue eyes and tan skin esp the very last dance she does with her traditional blue Indian sari &a headpiece is my favorite song & dance after "pehle pehle", all of the emotions evoked were phenomenal!! Please check out "Devdas" which has the same actress, my favorite Bollywood star aishwarya rai, that is if you haven't already! You'll love it! ~

absolutely agree )) in last dance aishwarya's expression was so strong i almost cried with her ;___; also she's got beautiful earrings there! (yes i'm dumb and looked at earrings all that scene x))
i've already watched "devdas" and even wanted to draw fanart on "dola re dola" song, but haven't got enough time for it yet ( wanted to do some pink blow at the back and white shapes of dancers. maybe some day i'll finally do it, uh...
btw have you seen "ram-leela" or "bajirao mastani"? these films are done by the same scenerist as "devdas", and they're distinguishing beautiful. (pls check out this piece if you haven't youtu.be/h6lHUn20J5g )

I apologize for the late response! No not at all, I was always distracted by the beautiful costumes & accessories, sometimes I would rewind scenes just to catch what dialogue I missed lol
I love that movie and the scene of aishwarya and mahduri singing their love for Devdads was beautiful& I hope you get the chance to illustrate it!! I would like to add you to my watchlist because truly I would love to see future work & Bollywood pieces as well
Thank you, It's been a while since I've seen any other Indian period pieces so I look forward to seeing these movies, I'll let you know what I think & it's really nice to find a fellow movie enthusiast of these films, thank you my new friend! Also do you like K-drama's because the visual & scenery of a few period dramas rival that of umrao & devdas (even tho it's Korean haha)

i feel so sorry for such long breaks in our dialogue i've got too much work irl, always lack of time... hope it's ok...
thank you for watch! i look forward to draw something soon... something bollywood ))
yesss that's so cool to find someone who likes indian cinema. i know a wery little number of people who likes that kind of things. most of friends like japanese culture and anime and etc...
well, there are 3 countries, whose culture i like most: India, Russia and Korea. one of my best friends is korean, so it's kinda close to me )) but actually i've never seen any korean hystorical movies, so if you'd like to recommend some ot them, it would be glad!

No worries my friend! I completely agree, it's nice when one can find time, esp to draw! lol

Of course! I really love your style, the attention to detail really stood out to me~

That's funny you say that, most of my friends love manga and anime as well, I do too but I'm drawn to Korean culture & cinema and having Korean friends doesn't help haha

Hmmm Well the only historical movie I know for Korean films is the "king and the clown", the main actor is phenomenal.
But truly I stay away from Korean films after seeing way more than I wanted in their "love" scenes XD

The Korean dramas are the best and imo one the great reasons of koreas popularity, I love it and lots of my friends & family love them too~

A few Korean dramas I recommend if you get the time are,
Coffee prince
Scarlet heart ryeo( more recent)
New tales of gisaeng
Goong
And a Chinese drama that rivals that of Korean dramas is "princess weiyoung".

All very romantic and beautifully portrayed, some happy ending and some bittersweet like Umrao Japan

Hope to see your new piece soon & let me know if you like any of the dramas

hi!~ hope you still remember me, dear friend!
finally i'm back home... actually i had several trips for last 2 months - some guys invited me to 4 festivals in different cities (4-12 hours to get to each), so i needed to print some of my illustrations and comics, and to buy smth to decorate the table, and to prepare drawings for sale, and the tickets, and a place to stay, and so on, and my usual work... OMG how is it possible that i'm still alive...
aaand i actually drawn a new Bollywood piece a month ago, but hadn't time to post it (lol). you can see it here: China Gate
i hope also to find some time for watching all of the titles you've recommended, they seems quite cool by the description. i'll let you know if i watch some of them! :3
