Description Well! Here's the drawing I was planning on doing since last summer hahaha.... I suddenly got super inspired for it and finished it almost in one blast.
I don't really know what I was going for, if it was anime style or realistic style, so it came out as a bit of a mix of both. I based it off one of the pictures from the Toronto concert.
I'm INSANELY proud of his hair! It took a little while to do, but I absolutely love the end result... I'm quite happy with the hands too I think, even though they're not perfect. I'm just not quite sure of the size of his right arm, or of the placement/size of his left shoulder.
What caused this drawing to take long to finish was the mouth... I was really trying to make it look realistic, but it wasn't coming out right so I drew what you see now. I kinda cheated (hehe) and I dunno how I'd finish it off with the colouring. Actually, I'm not quite sure how I feel about his face: whether I should leave it the way it is, or if I should re-do it completely to make it 100% realistic style. What do you think? And I'm not sure whether the facial components are placed properly, etc...
And lastly, I dunno whether I should just shade it all in pencil REALLY well, or actually line it in ink and then colour it on the comp.

Wow that was long hehee... but I'm looking forward to your critique/help!!!

WAAAAHHH CARO!!! This is awesome great job!

For the bits to fix up, yes that left shoulder is a little um short. (our right, his left) try extending it to the point where a nearly vertical line would link the shoulder to the forearm. the shoulder of course slopes downwards a bit...

I would also say that the placement of the facial features are good, if there is anything to move is his left eye (but only by a sliver) towards the nose adn a wee bit down... but seeing as it's sooo little movement I would say leave it as it is.

If you are going to go for a more realistic feel a good pencil shade may be better. colouring is hard to do but if you want a cartoony feel maybe of like illustration type, then a good lineart and bold colouring would make it pop
I wish I could show yo what I mean X) btu I hope that you can figure out what I mean

Thanks soooo much Kat-chan!!! I appreciate the help!!
I think I'm gonna leave this one the way it is and perhaps try to re-do another one completely 100% realistic (if I can haha) just because I'd like to try a completely different style. I might end up colouring this one on Photoshop or something, and try shading it in pencil on the actual drawing... Arigatou na!!

You're welcome glad that I can help
Always good to try different styles. always good to expand your skill base and all I'll look forward to your try at realism. (I can't seem to do it... keep making it anime-ish style )
