Description
This is my thank you-- right now-- to those of you who have ed this piece of art.

This is a sketch, took nearly 3 hours. So there's a lot of sketchy lines and messy shadows. But I had to capture those two in this scene.

When Bella asks Edward, "Want a Taste?" It was wonderful seeing how surprised he was taken, like a boy in a toy shop...he said, "Yeah." He bites gently down on her finger...

It's not in the movie...it's one of those deleted scenes and Catherine Hardwick said that it was Kristen's favorite scene.

I hope you like this.

Heheheh, you can lurk around all you want!!! Actually, he was playing with her finger in his mouth. He didn't draw blood--he wouldn't have been able to control himself.

Yes, I've seen it once. But which movie impressed you more or you liked more? Twilight or New Moon?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-10 20:58:14 +0000 UTC]

Definately Twilight. i know that most people prefer New Moon, i did love it but Twilight had a much bigger impression on me. But that could be due to the fact that i knew nothing about the saga when i saw Twilight. and it was watching the movie that made me want to read the books

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-10 21:38:43 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! I saw the trailer/previews, kept hearing people comment at work. A lady loaned me her Twilight book. Read 3/4 ways through and rented the DVD at Blockbuster. I stumbled on Twilight pretty late.

I remember when I saw the trailer first coming out that I really wanted to see it, especially the scene with Edward saving Bella from the van...and they had that impact special effect with the scene going into negative black and yellow for a sec like a painful hit! Whoa, then they had that kissing scene. I said to myself, I needed to see that. What a Romance!

Then too much stuff happened and never got a chance.

When I saw the movie on DVD, I fell deeply in love with it, Edward, Bella, the Cullin family, Charlie, Jacob, the bad guys...IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD! Soooo personal, sooooo romantic, sooo beautiful. Okay, I've tooted my horn enough.

I loved Twilight better...more music and relationship with Edward.

New Moon's special effects, Bella, Edward, Jacob and cinematography was amazing. But Twilight's for me hands down.

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-10 21:52:52 +0000 UTC]

I agree totally especially the music, i love the Twilight OST, i only listened to the New Moon OST once, im not a fan.
My copy of Twilight (the book) was bought April 5th last year (the day after i watched the movie) yes i still remember the date. My copy now looks about 10 yrs old. Ive read it alot
I fell head over heels for the Cullens, and ive never looked back

Exactly...exactly! Totally agree with you.

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-10 22:01:20 +0000 UTC]

I think the people who disagree are all the teens, they all said they liked New Moon better

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-10 22:06:58 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, quite a bit of the population liked New Moon...then it has more action and that Jacob with his shirt off. He has an amazing body, amazing. So I can see why.

I think Twilight was more personal, focusing on the relationship, artsie-having a lot of good music, Edward on the piano, and beautiful sweeping love scenes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-10 22:14:00 +0000 UTC]

Yeah thats true. as much as i like jacob and that body, im totally a die hard TEAM EDWARD.
And like you a total romantic and yes i cried the first two time i saw New Moon when Edward left, my son (who i made go with me) was all mother

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-10 22:19:56 +0000 UTC]

That's too cute! Hey, when I read the book (New Moon) the first time, I cried nearly all the way through, skipped to the end to find a Cullen then read peacefully through it with tears. Oh not finished yet, I had to go to work in the morning so I only got 49 minutes of sleep because of New Moon and needing to find a Cullen! And when Alice was in the house waiting and Bella found her...I boo-hoo'd. Then when I watched Twilight the next day on my DVD and saw Alice...I boo-hoo'd.

Hehehehe...Your son thought you were a mess, I was truly messed up!

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-10 22:35:05 +0000 UTC]

Oh me too, i always dread finishing reading Twilight as it means i have to read New Moon, and even though i know the book word for word, i still cry my way through it. My husband (who i made come with me the first time i saw New Moon) knows when im reading New moon it always makes me depressed. And yes i have skipped through to the Alice in the house part a fair few times.
Husband- Who arn't crying are you?
Me- obviously
Husband- Your crazy!

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-11 03:14:10 +0000 UTC]

Men! They always say we're crazy. I read it 3 times to understand what Edward was saying. 3rd time I finally got it cuz I didn't boo-hoo all the way through.

The New Moon movie was gracefully done, reflected Bella's mood nicely--but not as dramatically as the book.

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-11 09:02:09 +0000 UTC]

Oh don't get me started on men! Mine does not like Edward he says he's a whinny git.
my response wasn't much better. I said that must be why i love him so much....he reminds me of you! that shut him up
That was his response to what he thought of New Moon. He's a die hard vampire dont sparkle man! But i do agree with him when he said that New Moon was Hollywood(ised) thats why it differed so much from Twilight. C Hardwick made Twilight into the Romance film it should be

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-11 22:42:51 +0000 UTC]

LOL! That shut him up!

You're spot on about New Moon being Hollywood(ised). C Hardwick will never be forgotten. I agree totally, she made it beautiful, romantic, and unforgettable.

chellevaper In reply to Catluckey [2010-01-12 12:02:01 +0000 UTC]

Yes i think Twilight will always be no:1 in my book, i think though the producers will wait to see what the audience think of David Slades efforts with Eclipse before they decide on the Breaking Dawn Director, personally i would make it(or them) a combination of all 3 directors. I can not see any man making Esmee's Island or first night Great, that will need a woman touch, dont you think?

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-12 22:29:21 +0000 UTC]

Definitely! It won't have the sensitivity needed. I wish they'd bring Katherine Hardwick back cuz she had everything spot on. But that's a pipeline wish.

I saw on a web site today that they are thinking of starting filming of BD in the fall, mel is in the process of writing the screen play, but they still dont know if it will be one or two films yet. As we seem to be in the minority with prefering Twilight, i think that getting CH back for BD is very much a pipedream

Catluckey In reply to chellevaper [2010-01-12 23:48:17 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I know. Pipedream.com...hehehehehe.

I'm thinking that they'll make BD two movies. It'd be too much to be one, even the book is much, much longer than the others.

I hope it'll be 2 movies.

I have got a couple of pics to finish, but i am at the point where i need to draw Rob again. i was given a new Chinese calender yesterday, which told me that i should avoid those under the symbol of the Tiger. Hmmm guess who is a Tiger. calender is in the bin now
