This English actor is well known for his role as Sherlock Holmes and Khan from the 2013 Star Trek movie.Tutorial is HERE:

9B graphite pencil
Photoshop: Digital White for catch highlights in his eyes.

Awwww, thank you so much! I really did tons of these portraits/tutorials. And what's so interesting is when I switched over to doing my manga The Watchman, it took a whole lot of practice to get that anime/cartoon style.

I actually started with portraits as well. Funny how we both ended up with comics later on 
But I think that this is good! Doing portraits help understand lighting so well, which really helps when developing your own style. ^^

You're too sweet!!! I've got SO MANY!!! The latest ones are from 6 months ago. It's like nearly 17 more of the pencil ones and 75 of the mixed media ones. I'm going to choose one of the pencil ones per month or per week. I'll see how the schedule goes with my Watchman manga.

Don't worry about ever disappointing anyone, especially not little ol me. I hope you have fun when you draw, and share without fear. Not everyone is going to like everything one person draws. Compliments are nice but they don't define you or your art. *hugs* Hope you know I say it all as a friend who cares. One of the coolest things to me in watching an artist is encouraging them as they grow, including in the art blocks, stranger pieces , ect. I think it's going to be fun being friends with you ^^
