Description
You entered the sewers. It was far from uncommon to hear yelling and battling sounds from down there. After all, they were always practising.

But something was off.
The noise had no pause, and the unstoppable sound of weapons in action made you nervous.

What if the Foot found a way in the lair again?

This thought made you start running. You rushed in the lair. It was the first time that the turtles didn't notice your arrival. They would usually stop training, eating, or playing flipper and greet you.

Now, all they were doing was fighting. The worst part? They were fighting each other. Michelangelo performed a backflip as he hit Donnie's shell saying his idea was better. Leonardo clenched his jaw as he was attacking saying something about leadership. However, the one who you were most eager to see was Raphael.
The red clad turtle was hitting everyone furiously.
This was too much.

"GUYS! WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING?" you yelled going closer to them.

It was obvious nobody heard you. Their screams where blocking any other sound in the place.

One person could stop this
Master Splinter. You ran in his room, passing next to the four battling brothers.

"Master Splinter!"

The rat opened his eyes. From the position of his body and the calmness of his breath it was clear that he was meditating before you appeared.

"___. What's the matter?" he stood up from seating.
"I'm sorry to bother." you breathed heavily as you run close to the Master, "...But what's wrong with the boys?"
"Is there a problem with them?"
"Can't you hear?" you answered worrying.
"I thought they were watching this show they seem to enjoy."
"No! It's them Master!"
"They seem to have found some good techniques of dealing with The Shredder." Master Splinter explained, "But," he paused, "As you may have noticed ___, each one is different. Therefore, everyone came up with a different plan."
"So are they acting like this because of that?"
"Yes... And no."

You sighed.

"Meaning?"
"You see, if someone's plan is to be executed, the turtle who thought of it gets to be the leader."

You eyes widened.

"They are going to kill each other!"
"I do not think it is that that seriou-"
"You didn't see them sensei! Come on!"

Master Splinter was about to protest, but he followed you because of your clear worry.

As soon as you walked out after opening the door, the battling noises invaded your ears once more. The rat changed his face expression. He ran quickly but quietly among them, knocking every single one of them down. Donnie fell on his knees, Leonardo landed on his shell above a wounded Michelangelo. Last but not least, Raph was put down by sensei on his head.

You could almost feel his pain. It would really made you feel better if the situation allowed you to hold Raphael and treat his wounds.

It was true. You have been caring for Raph, caring a little bit too much. Hearing Donnie's story about how he fell for April always made you relate. The first time you saw Raph something happened. It was a mutant, sure. A turtle, yes. But it was just right somehow. Everytime he smirked, laughed or looked at you, your heart would sting hapilly.
As a result, seeing him wounded, angry or hurt would cause a heartache.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" sensei's voice echoed at the whole lair.

The boys stood up slowly, avoiding eye contact with each other, and Master Splinter.

"Is this about your plans about Shredder?" you asked with a sad look.

It was this very moment that they first noticed you. Leo looked at you and nodded, Mikey moved his eyes away as Donnie rubbed the back of his neck. You didn't see them doing so though. It was him, and only him that you laid your eyes on as you asked.

He stood up on his feet without letting anyone to help. His eyes glanced at yours, widened and surprised.
You hoped you didn't do the same. It was rare to see Raphael form an expression like this. Even though you were close, this moment was still precious. It felt like ages, but it was only half a minute before Master demanded they would listen.

You didn't hear to what he said. You only caught random muffled words and phrases, like "disappointed in you", and " detention".

Your eyes were still on him. Raph. You almost felt guilty for giving the turtle such a long stare. He would occasionally look back at you, revealing the recent scar on his right cheek.

"Now, off you go. And as we said, we will incorporate the four plans. Your leader stands. Next time I see this you will not get in the surface again. You understand?"

The four of them bowed, on their knees as they were.

"Yes sensei."

"We are so sorry ___." Leo told you after Master Splinter left the room.

"It's fine guys, just don't scare me like that again."

The three of them smiled.

Wait, your thoughts caught up. Raphael was absent.

Donnie told you to join him in the lab. He needed some "April advice"

"I'll come in a minute. Do you know where-"
"In his room." Leonardo indicated.

Mikey formed a kind of smile that made you want to burry yourself in shame.

"I... will be back. Wait for me Donatello!" you said as you took off.

It was not long until you knocked his door. He didn't answer. Expected.

"I am coming in." you announced kind of determined.

He wasn't on his bed. His place was on the floor, in seated position.

"Raphael, are you okay?"

No answer.
You got closer.

"Raph-"
"Leave... me"

He seemed hurt, tired.

"I can stay." you told him.
"Don't."

Emotional and physical pain. How a phrase of his could cause both?

"I know Raph. They make you mad. But, we promised we would talk about this the other day. We could-"
"I don't want to talk."
"Okay." you compromised.

Trying to be the positive spirit there, you sat next to him.

"Sometimes people say happy things to one another to make them feel better. Want to try?"

Raphael declined.

"I am not sure whether I should take what you say into consideration right now..."

You didn't wait for an answer.

"I wanted to make an announcement. Then you can decide whether-"
"Leave." he replied.

He sounded angry this time. You didn't know if you should continue. He had started to get mad at you. It certainly was not the best time to do what you wanted, but you couldn't bury the urge to speak. Maybe it was the fact that you saw him so frustrated.

"Raphael..."
"What don't you understand? It's not a good idea to be near me right now!"
"But I-"
"Leave!"
"No, I won't leave!"

You breathed out calmly. Touching his shoulder you let it out.

"Raphael. I lov-"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

The turtle took your hand off of him. What he didn't realised was that, with all this anger, he actually flipped your entire body over.
You landed brutally on the wall letting out an unpleasant loud sound.

Your emotional world became a mess instantly. Dissapointment, heartbreak, anger, sadness, embarrassment and surprise filled your inner world making you dizziness unbearable. Pain found its way in you.

You heard muffled running from outside. Your yelling and the crashing sound had probably echoed through the whole lair.

You hadn't realised where was Raphael. He was now kneeling beside you. With his unique eyes on you, he would yell things like "sorry" and "forgive me".
You couldn't listen. Your ears rang
too hard when he spoke.

His strong arm was softly placed on your shoulder. It was warm, but unwanted at the moment.

The three turtles rushed in the room.

It must have been a pretty weird sight, you thought.

A girl sat with her back against the wall, bleeding from her forehead, and a talkative worried Raphael next to her.

" What happened here?" Leonardo wanted to know.
"I... I..."
"Guys! You blind? She is bleeding! Pick her up!" Donnie indicated.

Everyone started holding a different part of your body. Your head was aching. You hadn't even realised what happened. You were confessing and suddenly you were thrown away. Literally. It was too much to handle even though you knew it had to do with his anger issues.

"Ra... Raphael..." you said as he picked you up by your back.
"Yeah?" he said trembling.
"I don't want... you to... touch me... right now..."

He froze. Everyone looked at him.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS RAPH?" Leonardo took the word, "I thought she fell or something! You freaking hit ___?"
"No Leo. Raphael wouldn't do that. Right brother?" Mikey said.
"What?" Raph was caught off guard.
"Guys!" Donnie yelled. "Head. Bleeding. Lab. NOW?!"
"Right." Leo and Mikey behaved as they carried you to the lab.

You felt yourself lose control over your senses. Every image looked blurred. You could feel a lot of things, but most of all, you could feel the one hot tear running down your cheek.

You were put in a table on Donatello's lab. You closed your eyes as you felt a cloth wiping your wound. A numb sensation sent your head spinning.

"___..." you could barely hear Donnie's calls.

You groaned.

"Did Raph did this to you?"
"He... didn't... mean to..." you tried to defend him.
"Bring me some more antibacterial towels, Mikey."
"Antiba what?"
"Never mind."

As your skin was being cleaned again by the blood, Leonardo continued.

"But did he do it?"

You didn't answer. Admitting it was harder than it looked.

"Uh..."
"Don't tire her guys. She hit her freaking head, not an ankle." Donnie snapped.
"Okay, let her rest." the leader said, "I got my answer anyway."

You sighed in pain. Mikey gave you a sympathetic smile. You wanted to return it, but instead you felt the huge need to cry.

"I..."
"You need to rest. Just let me wrap it first."

You let the purple clad turtle treat your wound. It ached deeply everytime your horehead was being touched.

The worst part was, you knew Raphael would do anything to avoid awkward or unwanted situations, like being grounded, saying sorry or talk. So, deep inside, your question was eating you from inside:

What if he acted like this because he didn't want you to finish your sentence?

With no warning whatsoever, Donatello injected you. You started feeling extremely light, until you fell asleep.

You woke up hour later.
Your head was numb, tingling sensations covered your whole body as you tried to sit on the bed you were put in.

You touched your head before looking to the person next to you.
It was Raph.

He looked tired, depressed and weirdly quiet.

It all hit you. You remembered what happened, what you told him afterwards, the turtles carrying you, Leo's words...

"Dammit..." you whispered.

Raphael looked at the floor as he talked.

"I am so sorry."

You sighed.

"It's okay..."
"Are you... in pain?" he dared to ask.

You looked at his saddened eyes.

"Not so much Raphael. Are you?" you touched his shoulder with your palm.

He gave you a stare. His eyes made you want to look away and look at him forever at the same time. You held your breath.

"You are pretty amazing." he muttered.

This caught you off guard.

"What?"

He half smiled, almost without wanting to do it.

"I hit you back there. I literally threw you to the wall, and you want to know if I am in pain. How can you do that?"

You smiled.

"Sit next to me." you said peacefully.

Raph hesitated as he stood up from his chair and took a place next to you in the bed.

You cleared your throat as you realised the tiny distance between you.

"You see... If I sit and think about what happened... I probably should be mad. But, it is impossible to do so." you explained.
"Impossible? I don't know what I would do if some of the guys did this to me!"
"What if I was the one who did it?"

Raph tried to talk, but ended up just breathing in. He held his mouth half open while he seemed to think of something. You were willing to get him out of this akward position.

"If you had let me finish my sentence back there you would know why it is like that."
"I would?"

You nodded. A smile was on your face for an unknown reason.

"Finish it then."
"Oh, I am not so sure I can do that."
"I can help you."
"Can you really?" you giggled.

The red clad turtle smiled.

"I know I wouldn't be mad either if you had done this to me. It's because... I lov-"
"I love you." you finished his sentence.

His face lit up in joy. Your smile became bigger and more beautiful. You just stared at each other realising what has been done and said. It was a full minute of pleasant silence.

You thought this fantastic moment would last for an eternity, when a better one took its place.

You felt warmth on your lower back. Raphael had placed his arms on your body pulling you closer slowly. You aided him by placing your arms around his neck. You slowly took his red mask off, leaving his face bare.

It was so great seeing him without his mask, it felt so right.

The next moment you were kissing each other on the lips. Your threw the mask on the bed as you started wrapping your arms around his back and shell. He grinned between your kisses, laying you on the bed.

Raph found his place on top of you as he breathed heavily. Your actions started turning wild from gentle, making this experience better than you could ever imagine.

You giggled as the neck kisses that came next tickled you slightly. Raphael looked at you with a satisfied stare when he pulled aaway for a second.

As he leaned in again, you both heard voices from outside.

"I think we should wake her up guys. I need to check her." Donnie said.
"But, Raph is inside." Mikey replied.
"So what? He probably stares at her with his hungry look."
"Would you both shut up?" Leo snapped stepping closer to the shut door.

You both widened your eyes. Looking at each other the turtle told you whispering:

"It's locked."
"Let's hope so."

You were still on top of each other, frozen, as you heard the door squick.

"Locked?" Donatello asked.
"No worries. I can open it." Mikey said with an amusing tone.
"Just be quiet, perhaps she is still asleep-"

A major slam made the whole place shake as the door fell on Michelangelo's feet.

Mikey and Donnie were looking at the door as Leonardo laid his eyes on you.
