Meet Nangwaya! His trusty mechanical stead easily outlasts his opponents on cross-country races through the savannas. Three golden robot scarabs accompany him, distracting the other steads--even robot birds can't resist the pretty-shiny beetles and quickly veer off the path, to the chagrin of their riders. Nangwaya wears a gold scorpion earring as his lucky charm. The scorpion is positioned so it looks like it's whispering venomous words in his ear, helping him outwit his opponents on the no-holds-barred track--what else can you expect from someone who's name means 'don't trifle with me'?

This was a fun challenge! First time I've stepped out of my comfort zone and tried to incorporate an elaborate border. Let me know what you think
