Cause I am trying new things or I should say was at the time... I did a few with that look for more of a traditional look to them; just something fun

I'd love to see it without the filtery thingy. i think it must look awesome.

well for what I was going for... The blur between reality from a drawing to a dream to reality I think I will keep it as is.
The inspiration and idea for the piece is gone without the comic book feel...
Thanks and sorry to dissapoint

reminds me of castle hallways...almost close to Hogwarts Castle hallways, yet a little bit more fancier! Excellent work!

You are 'churning' (said in a good way) out some absolutely fantastic deviations lately. This coud be a book cover with some fine tuning with the lighting.Well done.

Another stunning piece. The only think that could be improved is that if the lantern was giving off that much light there should be some glare spilling out from it.

CatsEye-Photography In reply to derangedartist [2006-12-03 16:31:06 +0000 UTC]

I like that idea... Now to figure out how to pull it off lol

derangedartist In reply to CatsEye-Photography [2006-12-03 17:28:38 +0000 UTC]

You could use Photoshop's Lens Flare filter. I took the liberty of downloading your image and running the filter on it to show you one way that it can be done. I posted it in my scraps with suggested settings so you could see. I hope you don't mind. My intention was only to show you an example of how you could achieve the "glowing light effect". Please let me know when you have seen it so I can remove it from my scraps. The link to the image is here [link]

lovin' this one. Great balance of light between the left and right side of the image...where we have been and where we are going.

CatsEye-Photography In reply to SoulCatcher78 [2006-12-03 16:40:45 +0000 UTC]

Exactly is it a dream or is it a reality... either way it is always about where we have been and where we are going!
