He is finally done and am working on his axe bass ... but wanted to share him with you... ♥I think he turned out pretty cute!
As always, 100% wool -- NO sewing, NO gluing.... just one needle, some glorious wool, my hands and a lot of time. He measures approximately 16.5" tall and his appendages are completely flexible but are densely felted, so he can stand on his own.

Best way to explain needle felting would be for you to watch it... look up needle felting on YouTube and you should be able to see lot of video tutorials. Basically it's taking one needle (that has barbs on the end) and poking it into a fluff a wool over and over and over .. (maybe a million times)... in a very small area to compress and interweave the fibers of the wool. It is incredibly time consuming but very rewarding! ♥

Well, if you get close enough, you can still see poke/pock marks and he'll need a nice 'go-over' before he heads off to his new home, but over all, I try very hard to smooth as I go.
I can also tell there's a bit of moisture in the air, as the wool is swelling a bit around his arms/torso.... but that will all be tightened up before he is packed up. Just gotta get his axe bass done and he'll be good to go. ♥

It's still very good! I can see why he'd get some lumps n' such, given that you needle-felted him. I can tell you worked hard on 'im, though <3
