decided to redraw my oldest digital drawing lolol (or at least the oldest i could find) apparently it's from may 2013...changed it slightly because of how boring the original isΒ
the character's name is toma btw.... not that it matters, just wanted to mention it :'D

most of my improvement happened between 2013 and 2014 though. back then, when i was pretty new to digital art, it felt like every picture i drew was so much better than the one before. these days the progress i make seems so much slower compared to then :'D my art still looks very similar to how it used to look two years ago, so yeah, i guess i can relate haha.

it's less easier to notice when it comes to your own work, but your style has definitely improved from 2 years ago too, though not as extreme, it feels gradual, like, slowly but surely. and personally, i think joining rp groups helped me improve a lot during my first 2-3 years in DA. when the groups were really active and everyone's hyped back then, i couldn't help but get inspired too. x'D
