Yes, they are. Ah, I remember eating them off my tongue and catching them in the snow as they fell from the sky. Each one is different looking then the last. I once saw one that looked like those kaleidoscope things.

Yeah, it is actually really fun looking at snowflakes up close ^^ I have seen someone on DA posting absolutely amazing close-up photos of snowflakes but I cannot remember their username right now =/

Perhaps look forΒ a live snow cam online someday and then capture it into Paint and crop it etc.. so it fits to size. There are live cams for almost everything. I once watched an Osprey mother bird in some state online free watching her over nest. It was a live feed. It was peaceful. She was holding her wings over the nest to protect the baby eggs in the nest from the cold bitter wind there.
