Description
This picture took a lot of effort (both in terms of patience and time) to get. I had actually despaired of actially catching one in flight with either my macro or telephoto lenses, mostly because although they hover, they move very fast and are difficult to keep in the camera's field of view long enough to focus on. I actually got several pictures of this particular dragonfly and although none are of what I'd call wonderful quality, they are impressive nonetheless
