Description While we here from the Northern hemisphere are facing winter, this cat is dreaming of summer, relaxing like only a cat can.

The HeatherCats are a collaboration of Heather Russell and me, Cat. I turn Heather's beautiful paintings into bead loomed pieces of jewelry.
This bracelet is based on this original essencestudios.deviantart.com/…

Nicely done! Very "catish" (as always )
I still can't make loomed things
btw when you attach these clasps, they are don't broke last row of seed beads? I had use it a couple of times and in mostly they are broke beads At my friends the same.
Did you heard about "slide end tubes"? Here is link to review - www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_bHRe…

Thank you!
What do you mean, you can't? If I can do it, I'm sure you can!
If I use the sewing back threads method, there can be one or the other bead breaking, but I add just a touch of glue, so nothing will fall out if that's what you worry about. With re-weaving the warps I never had that problem because the crimps are easier to close carefully.

Slide end tubes only work if your piece is exactly the size the clasp is which limits you in your patterns. Also a few of my beady friends tried them and were not too convinced.

Don't know. Maybe I used wrong needles or tread. Nevertheless, when I first time tried to make beaded rope - I was defeated I will just wait for the right moment.

And thanks for the valuable information about slide end tubes.

My first attempt at looming many years ago was such a disaster that I refused to even touch seed beads at all, so you are right ... sometimes you just have to wait for THE moment.
I can't crochet with yarn and never got the hang of crocheting a bead rope with it

These are just personal opinions, of course, but by people whose opinion I value a lot.

I love the small portions that extend outside the main bracelet - it adds to the charm and relaxed feel of the piece

Thank you! I made extensions very early when I learned looming because I find they can be so much fun and add that extra bit to a piece!
