Ethan "Give me that berry!"Charmin "No"
Ethan "What? You want a trashing?"
Charmin "No, but you're going to beat me up whether I give you this berry or not, so I don't see why I should give it to you."
Ethan "....Good point.... You're not as dumb as you look."
Charmin "Wow, that was almost a compliment. You'd better be careful Ethan, or you might ruin your jerk image."
Ethan 'Why you little...."
These two did not get along at all, and because of that they got Erin their trainer in to a lot of trouble on serval occasions.
I mentioned in my character bio thing that Ethan is slightly stockier then your standard Totodile, I should add that he is bigger over all then the standard Totodile, this guy is flipping huge!
He also has a very nasty temper.
I've never done colored line art before, it was fun but I don't think I'll be doing it to often. I don't have the patience for it. But I really like how it came out.

So Ethan was huge as a Totodile, how was he as a Feraligatr?
Something I love about the Pokemon cannon: You can have two characters which definitely don't click together, but they're still together all the time so in the end they end up learning to at least coexist

Lol, face full of berry. He sure is one HUGE Totodile though! I can only imagine how big he probably would be as a Feraligatr. He would be HUGE!

I agree with you I really love the way that this turned out. Man Charmin must have had a rough childhood having to contend with Ethan. Especially seeing as how he's a fire type and can't really do much to fight back against him.

Yeah, Ethan did give Charmin a really hard time when they where kids, but although he is a cocky jerk with anger issue he'd never truly hurt Charmin.
1. Because Charmin is his rival, and the only other guy on the team.
2. Charmin has a strong belief that using a super effective attack against a weaker Pokemon is cowardly, and Ethan is very prideful so he (not wanting Charmin to see him as a coward) never uses his water attacks on Charmin.
3. Ethan knows that Omri, and Ivy would kick his butt if he ever really hurt Charmin, and he's scared of Omri, though he acts like he's not.
4. He actualy like, and cares about Charmin, he just doesn't show it.

Oh yeah loads of times, but Ethan's not a good listener, and he doesn't respected Erin. He barely listens to her during battles, the only reason he does is so he can fight. He love to fight, fighting, and competing are really the only things he really seems to care about.
But he never really truly hurt Charmin, and he never would. He wouldn't have anyone to compete with on the team if something happend to Charmin. So he only roughs the Charmander up a little. Plus Charmin's no push over, he can hold his own against Ethan. Even with all his disadvantages like type, size, and aggressiveness.

Actually Erin's of the opinion that so long as they'er not really hurting each other with their rivalry it's fine, and ever healthy.
Erin grow up around her dad, and uncle who have a friendly rivalry, they get in to arguments about almost everything, and their always trying to show each other up, but at the end of the day their still brothers and friends.
So Erin see Ethan's and Charmin's rivalry as something that's normal.
She does break them up if they get to rough though.
