Wow. Long name. Sounds expensive... (How much was it, may I ask? And, I'm assuming it's a DSLR [whatever that means ] right? )

Nope, it was amazingly cheap; only $300-$400 (Aussie $) at the time. It's classified as a "like SLR" camera and it has a lot of functions a usual DSLR would have, except that it doesn't have attachable/ detachable lenses and components. Although (I just love talking about my camera!) it has some pretty amazing features, like an amazing zoom, macro modes... Oh, I just love it!

Do you know what Aussie dollars may be in comparison to... oh, let's say American dollars? (I'm Canadian and so our dollar's crap, relatively speaking )

And does it have a picture screen, to show you what you're shooting, or do you have to look through the little hole, like with all other DSLRs?

Oooh, I'm not good with currencies, but the last time I noticed the section on the news, I believe it we were at 80c to the American dollar... With the Yahoo! currency converter, it says that $350 is about $288 American, or about $305 Canadian.

Yep, it has a 2.7 inch display screen, which shows in real-time what your shooting.
