This cosplay is very, very special for me! It was my first cosplay dream ever! It was four or five years ago, when I just started listening to DEG, and saw the Garden music video, and understood that I fell in love from one sight! I could not have lived a calm life, if I wouldn't have made it
That time I thought that it was very hard, and it seem'd practically impossible to get that many roses, but with the help of Ebay it became possible! And much more easy, then sewing 300 roses by hand!
I send this photo for the contest in honor of Shinya's birthday, and I think it's really symbolical.
He was my favorite member of DEG, and my idol, because he is the drumer, and he perhaps will forever be a very meaningful figure in my life.

It was a real tragedy for me :// they meant a lot LOT in my life! And still they are important part of it
but all this america-loving is not for me
and it wasn't like "oh I've changed my mind - they sux" it was dark times of understending that my soul and their music have got two different ways now

Damn, that sucks. I personally don't think they went american-loving, they just pulled in a little american sound into their music, only because throughout the entire time Dir en grey has existed, they pulled little influences from many different things. For example, during one period, Kaoru had an obvious Spanish influence in his playing. They grow, they change. But there will always be some of their fans who don't like the changes they've made and there's nothing wrong with that. You cant expect EVERYONE to love what they do. So yeah. -end of opinion giving- ^_^
