Very nice! I like seeing them as mammals with fur. People tend to draw them more reptilian, especially Nidoking and Nidoqueen, but really they could just have tough skin with thin, light hair (like rhinos or elephants). The pose is really cute and I love his face.

Thanks a lot Well, that's true. I wouldn't know how to draw a Nidoking in that style. It doesn't look like a rodent anymore. But especially Nidoran's teeth do and they have a softer nature than their evolutions. They seem to loose fur when they evolve and change the animal they are based of. It always depends on how one sees a pokemon 'in reality'

Very true. Everyone imagines things differently, which makes it more fun. But if it was your intention to model the Nidorans after rabbits, then I must correct you: rabbits are actually not considered rodents. They are instead classified in the order Lagomorpha
