Description
The 1958 Impala was the first Impala made. Most early Impala's can be identified by the six tail lights, except for the 1959 and 1966. The 1958 Impala had two engine options: a 283 small block- or a 348 big block (later became the 409). You could only get a manual transmission with the 283. No factory 348 Impala's came with a manual transmission.
