My entry for 's 4th Art Contest!The pony we had to draw is named IceSplatter, I read in her bio that she is an inspiration to her troops so I was like HMMM
EDIT: I was awarded 5th place! Yay

I love the pint herself, and how she's the main focal point of this picture. The crowd was also a nice touch to show she was giving them orders or rallying them. She is detailed quite nicely, and the rock she stands on is well done. I would say that the background is really nice, and adds to the effect, but it's a little bland.
Also, the crowd of ponies below is not the main area of focus, but I feel they still could've used some more detailing rarer than being a sort of amorphous blob.
Overall, I like te picture, but it could have some more detailing done. Keep up the good work, and hope you receive a placement I the contest.

This artwork is very well drawn and includes a lot of great detail, great job!. The background is simple yet effective as it sets the scene very well. However, the pony's leg placement is a bit off. By looking at this image, it seems like there is only one hind leg and another one is coming from the pony's torso.
This artwork is very original. I haven't seen another piece that looks similar to this one. Although there are other pieces which are vaguely similar to this, this piece has it's own little spin which is always very nice. This picture has also got a mixture of your own style and the show's style. I haven't actually seen that before. Very well done!
My overall opinion is that this artwork is great. It just needs to have some minor problems fixed. After that, this piece could win any MLP contest out there!

I wanted to go for a simple background, I decided sunrise since thats the time troops usually wake up and go about their duties and stuff xD
Yes, anatomy was a slight problem here, I was playing around with it for a while then just decided not to touch it anymore XD
Mixture of show with my own little twist is my specialty! Makes it feel (well to me anyway) more unique rather than just "another vector".

I don't think I've ever seen wings on an OC drawn the same way twice. It doesn't matter if there's a canon, feathers are just too feathery.
I'm interested to see what the sketch looked like. I'm always feeling like in my work something gets lost when you digitize it. Any chance you'll throw the sketch in your scraps or something?
Also this totally isn't trying to justify the fact that the wings on my entry are upside down.
