A sketch from summer 2015 I wanted to color and finish.

It’s my husband’s fursona and my wolf self.
There are actually two reasons why I decided to draw her instead of my hyena here.

I was watching Alpha and Omega, when I doodled this and just felt like drawing wolves (it's still a stupid movie, but whatever).

The second reason is pretty personal.
My wolf self is my old fursona I created in 1998 to express myself. Since the years as a teenager and young adult weren't the best ones of my life, my wolfess had to go through a lot with me.

It happened in 2007 when my life completely changed and that change changed me and her as well. I became the hyena. A survival artist I had to become. I left my old self behind me.
I was experiencing losses and great pain, when the era of my wolf ended and was already a hyena when things started to get better.
My wolfess never had the chance to be happy. And I think that's sad since she's still a part of me. So I wanted to see her happy. As happy as I am with my husband and family and everything else I got :3
