Description Lucifer

A misunderstood angel,
Thrown from his home of heavens beyond,
People bow before you faithfully.
Some slit wrists hoping to glance you as they die.
Some cry bloodied tears and curse your name,
As they watch friends die
In sickness, starvation and war.

To some you're a myth,
You are a legend, not even close,
To being real.
But here lies the truth
Under old marble walls
Hidden from all humans
Not to be discovered till death.

Why does the bible not say words?
The truths about him and his four.
The Four brothers that live and reign.
Over all of Hell.

God does not move to save his children,
I used to love him.
But even Lucifer would not be this cruel.
No,
Lucifer has better sense even then God.
Since he knows suffering as we do.
And God knows nothing of our pain.

Not wanting to offend or change anyone's point of view but God does know our pain, or can feel it. Just like our heart aches when a person close to us suffers or dies, so does God. Also let's not forget about the sacrifice Jesus made for the future of humanity. Even more i want to add that God created every living thing (angels, humans, animals etc.) to be able to choose their own decisions (free will) and lucifer just decided that he didn't want to be close to God. God did not "kick" Lucifer out if heaven, on the contrary, he waits patiently but with want and desire for his son to relent an reunite with him. Lucifer (at least the way I see it) strayed away from God. Also I don't want to blame the Devil or God for everything bad that happens to humanity. God gave all living things free will to use it as we see fit. Lucifer left God and a great number (obviously) of angels followed now known as demons, but really they're just fallen angels. And as for us, we use this free so poorly that we have the delusion that it's not our fault but a greater power's fault that so mach evil is happening in the world.

In the end I believe that every single soul will relent and be good. And honestly since I was very young I was taught that the Devil was pure evil incapable of any good but I believe, that in the end he will reunite with God.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not, maybe I'm part right part wrong, and I like and want to believe your version (well the part of it) that Lucifer is not as evil but is good but I think for now we can't know for sure!!

I'd like a response and read your thoughts on the mattet😊😊😊

"An accusation always implies a standard. ...You call a person cruel or idle because you have in mind a standard of kindness or diligence. And while you are making the accusation you have to accept the standard as a valid one. If you begin to doubt the standard you automatically doubt the cogency of your accusation.... If nothing is [inherently] right, then of course it follows that nothing is [inherently] wrong....If a brute and Blackguard made the world, then he also made our minds. if he made our minds, he also made that very standard in them whereby we judge him to be a brute and blackguard. And how can we trust a standard which comes from such a brutal and blackguardly source? If we reject him, we ought to reject all his works. But one of his works is this very moral standard by which we reject him. If we accept this standard then we are really implying that he is not a Brute and Blackguard. If we reject it, then we have thrown away the only instrument by which we can condemn him."--C.S. Lewis

"I used to think it was a 'cruel' doctrine to say that troubles and sorrows were 'punishments'. But I find in practice that when you are in trouble, the moment you regard it as a 'punishment', it becomes easier to bear. If you think of this world as a place intended simply for our happiness, you find it quite intolerable: think of it as a place of training and correction and it's not so bad."--C.S. Lewis

"Be sure[,] there is something inside you which, unless it is altered, will put it out of God's power to prevent you being eternally miserable. While that something remains there can be no Heaven for you, just as there can be no sweet smells for a man with a cold in the nose, and no music for a man who is deaf. it's not a question of God 'sending' us to Hell. In each of us there is something growing up which will of itself be Hell unless it is nipped in the bud. The matter is serious: let us put ourselves in His hands at once -- this very day, this very hour."--C.S. Lewis

“Hi dad.” the boy said. “hi” puppet designer said. “how was work honey?” wife asked. “everything’s great” puppet designer said. “I’m working on a new project it’s going to be alive.” “you mean like us?” wife asked. “no, it’s different. soon, I’ll bring it home and you can see it.” “I love you daddy.” the boy said."I love you too" puppet designer said.
days came and went everything was OK the puppet designer was working on this so called human. wife was happy, their children were happy, the boy was so playful, joyful, he was full of life until...one day dad came home.
“hi” wife said. “how was work?” “great” puppet designer said. “I finally finished it. here, let me show you.” then he took a puppet out of his bag and showed it to his family. “it looks beautiful...” wife said. “no it’s it’s more than that.” puppet designer said. “it’s better than you.” “what?” wife asked. she looked confused. “dad, I’m your son that puppet isn’t better than me.” boy said. “yes it is.” father said. “ this is something more than you there are  things in it that you can’t see there is part of me in it.” “ you put part of  yourself inside that puppet rather than your own son or wife?” the boy asked as tears were falling from his eyes. “quiet, don’t make dad angry. show some respect.” the other son said quietlly. “respect what?” the boy shouted. “that’s it. I can’t expect this it’s not right, I’ll prove you that you are wrong.” the boy said and left the house. “wait.” the wife shouted. “let him go, he is not worth it.” puppet designer said.
after that, days passed one by one but it was never the same again. father was playing with puppets, other children believing that the puppet is better than them. and the boy... the boy is still trying to prove that his father is wrong. some say the boy is right, some say the father is right. me? I say don’t judge, you’ve only heard the father side of the story...

I too find Lucifer's story sad.

God wasn't the best of fathers. See, I did a test. I rewrote Lucifer's story in my own words, took out the angel and heaven part, and renamed everyone. When my class reviewed it, my teacher thought that God had been too harsh on his son and his son had just been lonely.

The only way in my opinion to truly know how to reign over mortals is to have lived as one. I believe that gods born immortal will never do well at reigning, but if you have a mortal who achieved godhood, they have a better chance, for they understand hardship so much more.
Lucifer had a point, and I do hope he too finds peace of mind, somewhere in this world.

It might be a sin, but I think about the same, too. I feel for him. From what I understand, he was jealous, and jealousy is mostly fear of being left alone as far as I think. And someone here on Deviantart says that he is in fact pretty kind if you are honest with him. As Mark Twain said, out of all the damned souls, why would no one pray for him? I wonder...

LocketShoru In reply to sampea [2014-05-25 06:55:52 +0000 UTC]

Jealousy is a lot of fear of being left alone - it's also the fear of not being good enough.

It would make sense that Lucifer would be kind to you if you are kind to him. If you look up the eleven satanic rules of the earth, they make more sense than the Ten Commandments.

But to my first point, it's more than likely that he just felt unloved and not good enough for his dad. And he was thrown into eternal 'go to your room and stay there' for it. Which is unfair.

Furthermore, I heard that to be worthy of heaven, you have to become a slave to Jesus, in the sense that you have to say goodbye to your opinions, your tastes and only be ruled by God and his words. I don't think I would make it alive.

LocketShoru In reply to sampea [2014-05-25 18:48:10 +0000 UTC]

Neither would I. The Simpsons did a very good job of summing up God's opinion.
"If you're happy and you know it that's a sin."
In Jewish culture, thinking about having sex with someone is not a sin, but going ahead and raping them is a very bad thing to do, yet not a sin. You can't really sin in Jewish culture. They don't believe in Lucifer either, for to them, God has no enemy or equal.
But to the Christians, thinking about having sex with someone is a sin, and you automatically go to hell. And I disagree with that.
Because in life, you fuck up and you can fix that. So why punish someone for eternity for their fuck ups and not give them a chance to redeem themselves?

Also, if you look at the number 666, numerologically-speaking you've got:

9= number of the humanitarian, the generous.

Err... I am sorry of being nosy, but as far as I know Lucifer and Satan have been two different angels.

There was one angel though who was kind of closer to god, since he did know gods plans.
Because of this ability that angel's mind was always close to madness.
So god's plan might not be a nice one after all.

I think I can understand you...Even if I really love God.
I don't really like the bible because it all seems to be so... old.
I have no problem with people who like the bible, but I like to have my own opinion of everything.
And I think that Lucifers story in the end is really sad...
He was the most beautiful angel but God had to throw him out of heaven...
He was allowed to carry the light of heaven and then he had to go forever, to leave his home...
That's always sad...
But well, in the end, God can't exist without him, and Lucifer can't without God.
In the end, they need each other.
Good can't exist without bad, that's what human now... or better, that's what they think.

This is marvelous, I have always sympathized with Lucifer and wish that some narrow minded people would try seeing things from his point of view. I'm Pagan, so really don't put much stock in the Bible, (I don't mean to offend anyone!!!) but I just find it so stupid that everyone always treats Lucifer like the villain when it just seems like there is more to it then that.

I can't remember what I was thinking when I wrote it, it was 6 years ago, but I may have decided to simply not write about a couple of the brothers... I honestly don't even know anymore ^^'

LucifersGhostWriter In reply to Caysuna [2014-02-28 01:56:06 +0000 UTC]

The four brothers are

Lucifer

The Book of Isaiah addresses the Babylonian king by a phrase that translates roughly to "Day Star, Son of the Dawn." When Christians translated the passage into Latin, the term was rendered as Lucifer, which literally means "morning star," and it came to erroneously be considered a proper name.

There is nothing in Isaiah that associates Lucifer with Satan, but the imagery of Lucifer as a fallen angel struck a chord with Christians. The association of Lucifer with Satan was further cemented in the Christian mind by works such as Dante's Divine Comedy and Milton's Paradise Lost.

The Satanic Bible celebrates the original meaning of the name, describing Lucifer as the "bringer of light, enlightenment," and associating him with air and the east. He is a person's inner light, which society attempts to drag into the darkness of conformity

Satan

Satan is a Hebrew term meaning "adversary." Unlike the common Christian view of Satan as opposing the will of God, in his original context Satan was a servant of God. He tested the faith of God's followers by being adversarial toward them, tempting them to stray from God's path or denounce him in their moments of misery.

For Satanists, he is: The adversary of: mundanity, mediocrity, right hand path, stupidity, conformity for the sake of conformity, self destruction, religion, gods

Belial

The Satanic Bible also associates Belial with independence, the earth, and the north, the direction of darkness. Earth is the element of grounding and realism, keeping people's feet on the ground rather than having their head in the clouds, confused by self-deceit and external influence. Earth is also commonly associated with fertility and thus with sex and lust, referring back to common Christian understanding of Belial. [blockquote shade=no] Belial is the carnal side of man, the lust, sex, pleasure and therefore the principal drives that make living worthwhile. People derive all the principal emotions of the higher ego from Belial: Pride comes from self control and suppression of the Belial, strength, pleasure and independence come from embracing it.

Leviathan

For Satanists, Leviathan is: [blockquote shade=no] A great sea monster, sexual desire, from out of the unknown and feared depths. The hidden truth; the hidden and horrible nature of existence and struggle. A great, powerful creature that continually gathers strength to attack all the world's religions. An unstoppable force from within man.

I feel bad that Lucifer felt that God did not love him. God loves all of His creations. But I agree that Lucifer needed to be punished for his sins, like rebelling and trying to overthrow God. And now, Lucifer is the definition of evil and corrupt. But I believe, even now, when darkness has fully developed him, God will always love him, as He will always love all of His creations, as crazy as it sounds. And as even crazier as it sounds, I hope that one day, even if it is thousands or millions of years away, that Lucifer will once again see the Light and once again realize who his Lord is. And I think God will accept him back with love, as He does with all of his creations.

I disagree when you say God knows nothing of our pain. What Lucifer did, he did to him too. He cut us apart from our Creator, our parent. So God is cut off from us too, his children, the only people in the universe like him. I have a theory about the events surrounding the fall, namely that the entire reason God created humans was because he was lonely.
Angels are servants, not children; he cares for them of course, but they are not like him, they don't have free will, they cannot create, and they cannot teach him anything new. I think Lucifer was an attempt to create something more like him. He had free will, an ability to create, he was supposedly Minister of Music, he loved was loved by God. But there was a problem, Lucifer was born with knowledge, of good and evil. Like God he could feel all emotions, pride, jealousy, hate. But still God loved him. However, he felt the need make someone even more like him, a true child of innocence, who God would teach and learn from until they were ready to join them. He would even make them a present, a nursery for them to grow up in; and bodies, training wheels until they could move on their own. He may even have asked for Lucifer's help in making all this. But of course Lucifer became Jealous of his knew brother and sister, so he plotted their downfall. Being second in command, he could even convince other angels to follow him (who, even lacking free will, still felt emotions like jealously, all they needed was an excuse.) And so in the end God had let his guard down, Lucifer had taken our chance for happiness on earth, and we had broken the oldest law in the world, and let him take it. Now all three of us have to suffer for our mistakes. God will keep Lucifer out of his world, Heaven, until he asks for forgiveness and tries to fix what he's done; the earth being our's to do what we will, neither of the two can approach it unless we allow them to, and Lucifer, still prideful and in some ways still wanting God's love, tries to turn all of us to what we now call sin.
That's just how I believe it may have happened, I can't claim to know for sure. I do know that God loves us, and understands us better then anyone or anything else, I know that he loves Lucifer, despite what he's done, and I know that Lucifer still loves and hates God. I feel sorry for Lucifer, I'd forgive him for what he did if I could meet him and if he would accept, but I can never trust him.
