Hey Kuri, I know we've had our differences but wanted to say I really liked how these and a couple of your other new pictures came out. Especially like the unmasked ones here, you have the cutest look on your face while taking the pictures!

I think that in North America, Canada and Mexico included, that the ratio of girls and boys performing Kigurumi is probably a little different than 10% 90%.
After all, if the quote " Anime Girls get the best costumes" is true, then a lot more girls would be into Kigurumi than you'd imagine.

i dont count the ones in mexico cuz the dont wear the suits.....its more like masking then kigurumi in my opinion. and thers only one girl i only in canada, and in the usa there is now about, 5 girls. japan on the other hand is a different story. Uk theres a handful.
but not many girls want to cover up their "pretty" faces...hints why theres booth babes.

True, some of the girls in Mexico don't always wear Zentai or Hadati, but some do when playing specific characters like Princess Peach.
I know of one girl in Canada. She usually kigs as male characters. Same person?
And, I guess it all depends on how many Performers there are in North America. You may have heard the quote that we can't fill a duck boat while in Japan they can fill a train.

Yeah true. but I'm thinking that's only for the immediate future. MJC was never one to repeat characters for long.
Can't see why many girls avoid masks. Cosplay's difficult enough if you have to paint your entire body to be a Dark Elf. Why not go with a zentai and a mask?
And besides, Masks give you a better body proportion, and likeness to the character you want to do.

90% I know there are males kigs but I though it would be like 50/50 male and female.
Do you know what that doesn't bother me one bit because I love kigurumi cosplayers.
It is a shame though because when you like someone's photos you only get to see the character. It's like if e.g. I love Avril lavigne but imagine not see here face just listen to her music. I love her music but I need a face to relate to. As you must know most kigs look the same so you don't know if you are liking to same kigger if you get me.
Anyway if you know any male kigs tell them from me there cool just like you.
One day I hope ill join the ranks of the kigs xx

I do. But not ones of you holding the mask next to your head and such. It takes the magic away. Like when you go to Disney World and see the guy dressed up as Mickey, take off his head and you see a man.

I never said that.
I just said it's mind blowing to see the face beneath the mask, while holding the mask next to your head. I never said anything about one sex doing this stuff more then the other sex.
