Yeah I think I probably did just need a break from it. Was sitting in front of it for like 7 hours or something and kept "fixing" things until they were completely wrong... but I'll get back to it! I'll finish it. It won't be perfect, but at least it will be done. Right?

wow, you worked a loooong time on this! it's beautiful progress though! i especially love how you were approaching the strict monotone blending! It's definitely something a bit different than you usually do so i think this is a marvelous piece of work!

Well it's only been the past 2 days I've worked on it really (probably a loong time for a lot of people but to me that's really really short!),and I was doing this grey scale to try out that technique of adding colour to it after it's all done ( I originally imagined it with a very kind of...orange blue and white colour scheme). But we'll see how it goes. Thanks deary.

This is fantassstiiiiiic. Holy cow you gotta finish it. IMO my work always looks like garbage until the final stages, hahaha! Or it starts out looking great, then it looks like shit, then it looks either great or maybe just okay. I bet you'll have a different opinion once you finish it (by which I mean a good one).

Thanks! I was just having one of those moments where I already worked so hard on it and then it dawned on me how much more there was to do. So I had a little tantrum and my love Tom was all stern talking to me.... I think I have it in me to finish it. I'm almost starting to forget what the guy actually looked like though (he's some extra that gets destroyed in the Judge Dredd movie. He's literally in it for like, 1 hole minute, but he was waaay to hott not to paint....if I remember correctly.) Thanks for the encouragement though

Ahhh I've had that happen. When a piece gets to be that stressful you just gotta stop and do a little at a time. Some things happen fast, some slow. The things I spend the longest on (and often end up hating) are the things people like the most, so dedication says something I guess.
The old Judge Dredd or the new one?? Ugh god hot extras. Whichever movie it is, I'm keeping an eye out for him LOL

Hahha tell me about it. I was thinking to myself that it's probably not the most interesting "fanart" if you have to take a paragraph explaining who the person even is. It's the new one that just came out, we watched it the other day. Such a good movie (not the most thought provoking but it's is most definitely visually entertaining and makes good use of its 3D I thought). Its the part where these two junkie dudes go to this apartment room, and one has like, surfer twink hair and he's all like, getting high with his friend and then judge dredd comes in and the twink takes out his gun about to shoot him, and I'm all like "NOO YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!" and then he gets shot in the face and it like, explodes on one side and he lands in his friends lap....shortest lived hot guy ever....he probably wasn't even all that hot but just kind of cute..
ANYWAY, go watch it. It is good.

On the flipside, YOU should see the original with Sly Stallone!! It's kind of silly and crap but highly entertaining in that outdated cult classic kinda way (come to think of it, IS it a cult classic? no idea).

I really want to, and probably hopefully will eventually. I've just been sitting here for about 7 hours working on this. I just feel like I've wasted my time.
