The loss of this theme (and lots of others) for my was very tragic. I remember the good old gtk2 - gtk3 <20 days, with absolutely incredible themes that ended directly in the trash cube. Now the gtk3 themes looks "cuadriculate" and very "cold". But I understand too why lots of devs give up due the continous sabotage of theirs works...

Yes, in fact I'm playing with that theme and with numix to get a look like Minimal-3.14 and as an excuse to learn something about gtk too. I have absolutely no gtk skills, and doesn't seem easy....

Patience is the key, and a lot of spare time.
If you like Numix themes, the easiest way to create a custom version is to use the oomox app.

Hi, IαΈΏ using this theme for a long time ago, but as I've say to the gnomishdark developer, gtk3 last updates have broken lots of themes likw yours (fonts, bars, colors, selected options dissapears...) Have you think about an update, or this theme is going to continuous as is, to end deprecated?
Please man, select the first option. Too much work (I couldn't help yyou due my skills... but itΕ a great theme!!!

Pretty sure the Gtk I used as a base is no longer developed. My most recent efforts have been using Adwaita as a base.
I'm away from the PC for the next 4 months so will be awhile before I can make new ones.
Take a look at my KISS or Slate themes. By changing the base and background values to the Minimal colors you may end up with something close to what you're after.

It's really not that bad, just takes time. But the recent rapid development makes keeping up rather difficult. Which is why I now just modify Adwaita because it's always most current with gtk3.

Although I would like to get rid of all the transparency in the shell theme because I'm a dark theme obsessed freak, I'll have to fool around in the css file I assume. This looks fantastic though!Β Β

Easy enough to do. Β Just remove the vertical gradients with rgba & replace with #242424 . Β
