Big Mac is my favorite Pony from MLP but I've noticed you might not know that from some of art that I've done with him in it. So I decided it was about time I be nice to the boy and illustrate a sean from one of my favorite Big Mac Fan fiction.Rarity is frustrated from her experience at the grand galloping gala and goes for a walk at night to cool down. pretty soon she finds herself in the wood , very lost and very cold, until she runs unexpectedly into Big Mac. He give her his jacket and walks her back to ponyville.
I really like this story and not just cause it's a Rarity/Mac ship (though I will admit I do like the idea, something about the princess and the farm boy I find interesting. case in point I also like Luna/Mac) But it portrays Mac as intelligent and cultured where most fics I read don't. I love it when a character breaks their stereo type.
I'm secretly hoping the author sees this and it might inspire them to write more chapters.

I honestly love this pairing, thanks for pointing out another fanfic with these two. I too liked how he is portrayed in this fic and do look forward to reading it. You did a good job with the image of them walking together that night as well

ANd I love that others do not see him as just some idiot, although I do not think hes an intellectual giant, I think hes very deep, and down to earth (with a lot of common sense).

The way back machine might be able to help, it's a website that can bring back website pages that have been deleted or changed as long as you have the link and there's a saved version of the page in their archives (I managed to get a good quality version of several pictures from a fan art website that the owner deleted by using the way back machine on it)
But moving on to the picture it is very sweet, I haven't really given much thought about it apart from a posible humourous side but this picture is lovely

It's done with copic markers, one of the few art supplies I will actually shell out the money to get. usually I try to stay on the cheep side if I can.

I could see Big Mac x Rarity working out- he seems like a down-to-earth type, perfect for Rarity. I don't get why most portray him as dumb- the one time we really get focus on him, he's shown to be responsible and at least somewhat intelligent (in Apple Bucking Season, the third or fourth episode).

Unforchanly I feel it's cause he's big, people often view big as being dumb.

Big Mac always struck me as being inarticulate, but not dumb. A lot of his simplistic speech comes from a desire to not mince words, and stay clearly on topic. As for his intelligence, at the very least he must have some business smarts, or he wouldn't be able to run the family business! All implications suggest that Sweet Apple Acres is a thriving farm, so he must be doing something right.

Plus, he's a "farmer/country" type, which are stereotyped as not being intelligence, and he doesn't say much aside from, "Ayup." Still, I think he's smarter than most give him credit for. Not necessarily a genius, but not dumb, either.
