Description well, tentativa de ensinar a dani os efeitos reais UHUL.

PLEASE CRITIQUE

First off, the horse is well done, very anatomically-correct, he looks interested in whatever he's looking at and the composition is good as well. There are too many paintings on DA where the subject it put smack-dab in the middle of the picture and it's very dull. By setting him off to one side, you already create interest.

However, as was mentioned, the angles and contours of the horse need just a touch more definition. The shoulder and the neck are actually passable - you can et away with the kind of definition you have there right now, but the face needs more contrast. Keep in mind the bone structure of the horse when working on the face; obviously each breed will be hugely different in how the skull is constructed, but it's all the same anatomy. The nasal bone does not lie flat, it is slightly raised above the lacrimal bone, which comprises the part of the face between the cheek and the nose, above the mandible. This should be accented with shadow and light and while you have the right idea, it's not as defined as it should be.

Same thing goes for the cheek. There is a noticeable bone protrusion there, right under the eye, where the face becomes the cheek. I can see the beginning of the definition of that, but it needs to be accented more with shadow.

The ear - the right ear - also bothers me a bit; it looks flat, two-dimentional and while I realize that this is just that - a two-dimentional picture on a screen - the objective of art like this is to provide an accurate representation of what is depicted. Ears are not two-dimentional; add some depth! Shade the inside of the ear, find a reference photo if you need one, but it needs to be darker. Foals also have some fuzz that hangs out around the base of the inside of the ear, left over from their baby coat, which this guy looks to have grown out of. Add that in there!

Lastly, though it is not the focus of the picture, the background needs more definition. I can see the brushstrokes in the mountains, and the tree looks almost juvenile in its simplicity. Even the middleground looks flat, like linoleum, not grass. Add texture to everything, maybe try blurring the mountains a little if they are far off to create a sense of distance and depth.

Overall, the subject is fairly well done - the inconsistencies are minor, easily fixed and not very apparent unless one is looking at the picture for a while, but it's the background and middleground that need the most work.

I appreciate your critique of heart. I'll worry about such matters.
Actually, this art I would not post. I was at a friend's house, and she wanted to learn the basics of this effect, the fund I would not do (I'm terrible) but she made me (you know how are the girls) so I did, my idea was to let the background transparent .
These small details, I really have not given importance, as I said, it was not my idea to post that picture here.
But again, I appreciate your help.

This is a lovely piece What to look out for is when tinting the outsides of a picture the main focus should be either Dark or very detailed. your shades need to be more contrasting because when you blend out it looses shape and its hard to understand your anatomy, like face it looses its shape when its not distinct. If you add the darker tones and blend out to an extent and keep it constant this would be very much more appealing to look at. The hair is Very nice e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
Just add more detail and define your muscles more and this will be an amazing piece, It has the potential because you have a good eye for composition e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

Thank you, I do not like it much, I thought I was missing something. But this design was more a ''demonstration'' for my friend, for her to have an idea of how make art in style real. I did not want posted here, but she made me LOL
