Description The Quiet Hour

They were close, he knew it. Each of his senses edged into overdrive. The seething rage had peaked. He was calm, steeped in the narcotic like calm that comes with the acceptance of an unknown, of fate. Cold comfort lay in the certainty, that whatever the outcome, it was the end of the road. It didn't matter what end, he was already dead to the world. Life had turned to shit the night they came for the kid.

It shows, the photo/ written collab fits perfectly.. I wonder if it would look cool if you added it in, but in a newsprint font with a heavy filter over it so it fit with the rest of the pic?

I hadn't thought of it for the collab. mainly i wanted the collab. to be more personal. This is a "cartoonish" thing I'm trying to get together. Your newspaper idea has me thinking though and I may just blatantly steal it from you for the collab !

What never ceases to amaze me is that people can't believe someone other than a news photographer takes pics at night. A lot of them tell me I need to use a flash even though I tell them I've done a few without.

Definately not overdone. Just the right amount of bruised purple and blood red showing through.
Y'now...I can always use a good 'wheel man' on the next big score...

I drove by that truck (I shot it from the front to look like a car....actually it's an old International pickup truck) 10 times last Saturday night and waited an hour for the rain to stop cuz I had to have that shot (you understand). I couldn't believe it was all alone and in the right historical setting. On the way home I came up with the idea for the series.

The treatment's my usual but there is a different feel about this one I think.
