I REALLY LIKE THIS ALOT. I ACTUALLY PLAN TO START WORKING ON BACKGROUNDS, AND I NEEDED DIRECTION FROM OTHER FELLOW ARTISTS ON IDEAS AND SEE THEM DO IT. THANKS FOR POSTING. IT'S NICE TO SEE OTHERS DOIN IT BIG!!!

i would say that i'm TRYING to do backgrounds, lol. this project really challenged me to do them, and do them well. getting paid was great incentive and i started to shed my fear of doing it. bottom line, if you can draw well on any level... you can do good, detailed backgrounds, lol. they may be the most tedious to do, but honestly, organic forms are a lot harder, complexity-wise, to draw than buildings and other structures. in my humble opinion, anyways, lol.

yeah, this was a redone vision by the writer. in the beginning of the comic, it'll be in present day time. this is supposed to be the spot where the island existed centuries ago. now, people are digging it up to find out stuff, lol. later, the story will flash back and go the actual island in the past when the main characters lived. i'll have to rename the older pages, lol.
