I know I've been neglecting my page again, so I figured it was time to post something. Honestly, I've been more on instagram because it's just a whole lot easier to post things there, especially on the go.In any case, as busy as I've become I still gotta find time to draw stuff just for me. So here's my take on the MCU version of Doctor Strange. I loved the movie, btw. what did you guys think? Have you seen it? Is it worthy of the source material?

As for the film ... (SPOILER ALERT)
I did really like it. The magic looked good, and I like how Wong was a more powerfully presented character rather than being more Strange's personal servant. The overall plot was dope too, and for the most part paced well and explained thoroughly enough without dragging down any momentum.
I just feel they should have shown more how Kaecilius had his falling out with the Ancient One. This could have been fit in while Strange was learning magic for instance, to give him and the zealots more background and interaction with the rest of the cast; make his fall more personal to the audience. I also would have implied more time passed in the movie - which could have been done by presenting his pre-sorcerer days through flashbacks and implying earlier MCU movies were happening during this period, and even throughout his training. This isn't to say it was muddled (as I said above, it flowed well overall). It just felt like he became the Sorcerer Supreme over a couple weeks.
That's my two cents. I look forward to the sequel when he takes on Mordo.
