Here's the finished Gundam Vs. Prime pic i gave you guys a peek at. haven't drawn a lot of transformers or gundams lately (haven't drawn ANY, really, lol), so this was kind of a personal treat. let me know what you guys think

Thanks! The easiest way to start out, for me, is to look at other fight scenes and see how they're "staged" or composed. What actions are each characters displaying & what's their intention. What scene do you envision in your head? Then you pick the poses & setting & start looking for references. To start out, I like to use comic & real life references in unique ways and mix them up a bit, that way you avoid copying or plagiarizing. I'll even composite pictures in programs like photoshop sometimes to compose a layout for myself. But once you get comfortable enough with your own style you'll need less & less references for different things. It's a process that I think almost anyone can do, but it is WORK. That's the number one thing that makes it so hard, imo. A lot of ppl look at an artist's work (especially ones they admire) and put them on a pedestal as if their work is almost unachievable. To me this perspective does more harm than good, especially if you want to hone your craft. Just visualize what you want & do the work. If there's something in particular you're not good at, practice drawing that thing consistently until it becomes second nature. Don't overthink it. But the moment you start & then you succumb to boredom or impatience or frustration, or even doubt remember that those are the things stopping you... NOT your lack of ability. Drawing takes work like anything else one might do well. So don't take that for granted and you'll be good

Prime never quits even Iām without the matrix of leadership he can still beat foes tougher than with or without his weapons he fought stronger,smarter,tougher and bigger enemies like no other before.

Ooo, I think Prime could pull it off if he's careful. Those beam sabers will hurt if he gets sliced, though, and he should be the most careful to avoid Zero's Twin Buster Rifle. That thing can destroy colonies or giant asteroids with ease. It's soooo overpowered! That said, this would be an epic throw-down!

Yeah, Gundam is just as expansive as the Transformers universe (if not more in some respects, lol). It can be kinda hard to keep up.

I give the edge to Optimus, he's got a larger power source and can react quicker than a human in a suit, even with the Zero System aiding Heero. Plus, he's still got his trailer to back him up, Heero has all his cards on the table right now.

i just have it attached to his arm a little differently. his fist is peaking out at the top, wielding an energy sword. i don't like to rely on this, but hopefully the confusion we'll be cleared up with some good inking/coloring, lol.

That fight in the second movie echoed the first fight in the 1986 animated movie. A bit more concentrated to just a few bots, but awesome none the less.
