Art trade for my man for placing in my contest for the winner.The top tens were supposed to get art trades with me, so this is his. I believe he was gonna do my character Onyx.
It's a pretty sick character actually---reminds me of something out of a sci-horror video game, a la "Doom" or "Resident Evil." Good stuff!

Friggin. WICKED!! It definitley wouldn't have had the same feel without the shading I think. That really gave the character the depth needed. I don't get an RE, Doom, or Silent Hill vibe so much as a Heavy Metal Magazine vibe. But that might be because of the maces. I dunno. Good job on the character, dude.

yea, man. Heavy Metal is what got me turned on to tryin pin-ups to begin with. Had me drift a bit towards a more realistic style for awhile. Really helped in the long wrong. I had a LOT of anime influence to dump at the time.
Hmmm.... that reminds me. I gotta head out to the city sometime to hit up Midtown Comics. Been awhile.

Yea, I really need to get a table at one of those shows---I couldn't do the NYC con because of everything going on here, but I plan to do some shows towards the end of the year---and hit up the NYC Con for certain next year!

There's always the Big Apple Con. They hold it in the same place as the NYC con. (Right across from MSG) And they do it almost every month. I don't have a link lyin around anywhere just yet, but when I find it, its goin your way, man. I'm pretty sure they have a MySpace too.
The last show of there's I went to, I got to meet Jim Lee, Brian Azzerello, Eric Larsen, and Mark Bagley.
