'Well here we are. Home sweet home.' You say with a chuckle as you push the door open to your dorm and flick the lights on, ushering Makoto in. 'I know it's not much seeing as to how I am a poor college student, and this is a dorm, but make yourself at home.'

'I think it's lovely. It kind of suits you.' Comes his reply as he eyes all your favorite merchandise you had around and the overflow of empty coffee cups on your desk.

'So.... What should we do now that we're here?' You ask, flopping into your desk chair as Makoto plops onto your bed.

'Hmmm I'm not sure, I feel like we've watched too many movies already, so maybe not that?' He replies thoughtfully as you rack your brain for fun, creative ideas.

'Oh I know! How about we play a little game of truth or dare?'

'Isn't that a little childish?' He questions skeptically, not daring to look at the puppy dog eyes you were surely making now.

'Pleeease?? It'll be fun, I promise!'

Your plea is followed by a moment of silence as Makoto contemplates your suggestion.

'Fine, I guess. Just nothing too wild okay?' He responds with a sigh, running his fingers through his hair exasperatedly. With that, you let out a little cheer and hop up from your seat, ready to get the game started.

'Okay, Makoto. Truth or Dare?' You ask with a mischievous smile.

'Truth.' He replies pointedly, leaning back on his hands as your smile fades slightly.

'Aww come on you chicken.' You tease with another fake pout as your hands come to rest casually on your hips.

'Hey, I did say not too wild, and that is a fair option in this game.' He says with a slight smirk, thinking he had bested you.

'Fine, have it your way. What's your favorite position?' You ask with a smirk.

As soon as the words leave your mouth, his face flushes and the tips of his ears turn bright red. 'Wh-What??? What do you mean by that??'

'You know exactly what I mean. And you have to answer.'

'Uh-umm a normal one I guess? I don't have that much experience with that kind of stuff.' He quickly stutters out, a massive blush covering his face.

'Alright, I guess I'll accept that' You say with a giggle, glad you could start the game off with a band. 'Now it's your turn to ask.'

'Okay, Truth or dare?' He asks, still recovering from his previous state of embarrassment.

'Dare.' You state without a moment of hesitation. You were not one to back down from a challenge.

'Hmmmm, I dare you to pick a random room down the hall, knock on their door and run back' He replies after a moment's consideration.

'Aww come on, that's so mellow. But alright, I guess I'll do it.'

With that you mentally prepare yourself as you open your dorm room door and instruct Makoto to hold it open for your escape route. Casually, you saunter our down the hall, purposely trying to fluster Makoto as you make your way past different rooms. Stopping at room 203, you decide that's far enough and you brace yourself as you stifle some giggles to prevent yourself from being prematurely discovered. Taking a deep breath you raise your hand and quickly rap your knuckles against the wood before bolting back to your room. In your hurry you crash into Makoto, sending the two of you crashing to the floor, your limbs a momentarily tangled mess and your eyes shut as the door slams shut behind you. Finding yourself against something surprisingly soft, you pry your eyes open and find your face inches above his, your deep breaths puffing against his ruffled hair. Looking down further, you find your hands pressed firmly against his chest and his arms wrapped securely around your waist. Glancing back up, you instantly become captivated by his bright green eyes that are studying your face.

'Hey. Truth or dare?' Your question comes out as a mere whisper, leaving you hanging on the silence.

'Dare.'

'I dare you to kiss me.' You reply breathily, your face moving impossibly closer to his.

'That's an easy one' He replies softly, closing the final distance to meet your lips with his own, capturing them in a soft yet heated kiss. His he treated the kiss almost delicately, yet you could tell he needed more as his tongue swiped across your lower lip. Giving in to his demand, you let him control the kiss, stretching it out so that the moment might never end.

Now, you might not be sure where this game would be going or who was in control anymore after so few rounds. But then again, this could be a metaphor for your relationship all together and all you know is that you are glad both had begun.
