A beautiful creature.
Twice I have lived in places where fox hunting has taken place. However many times I hear gamekeepers, land owners and all those who make money from chasing after this beautiful animal. Yet the one thing that escapes them (apart from usually the fox) is that the fox keeps down the rabbit population naturally. The stupid land owners/gamekeepers will bring in rabbit catchers at a cost. Just how stupid is that?
My daughter has a sort of pet fox, she has 4 cats and the fox is wild but will come into the house to be fed. He really likes cat food. He also gets on well with the cats who think he is great.

its a completely different viewpoint in Australia where foxes are introduced and a serious danger to wildlife... yet there are places where foxes belong as you say, controlling the rabbits!
