Watching the sky reflected in still waters is a pleasure, and a reminder of times of peace and stillness after the storm.
This painting sat on the wall of my therapy room at work for some time.

I painted it after a holiday to Southport, Tasmania and the view is from the accommodation where I was staying, right on the water.
I painted it a few months after I'd lost my beautiful dog, Pip.
I painted it whilst my health was terrible and I'd been dealing with relapse after relapse.

Painting scenes like this reminds me that even when everything is dark, there is hope.
