A comic I've been working on for a scholarship, it's proven to be a tough project.I took out the original text, because I felt like it.
They're all self portraits, yes...i tried and failed to draw myself TAT.

I love this because I feel i can identify closely with every panel. Its very clear without the text.
Also, stellar coloring. I love the use of blue instead of typical black lines.

We're supposed to have an essay and 8 peices of work... and all the regular scholarship stuff.

Good luck! I didn't get any. XD Too much work to apply for em, and the only sort I can get out of "whee I'm a minority" come from being a girl, so they all have essay prompts like "write 5000 words about how important makeup is to you" or "tell us how much you like skirts and high heels."

I love the depth put into each frame, starting out small, and doing sidewalk like doodles, and then growing up and going through different phases. I hope the best on that scholarship for you!

I'm going to go to DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington to study production animation ^__^

haha, that sounds like the name of a tablet or something, awesome. wtf is production animation? like is it just EVERYTHING to do with animation they teach you like modeling and texture and lighting and crap? does it include character animation?

First year BFA students at DigiPen learn art theory and drawing skills, as well as 2D traditional animation. Second year we learn 3D modelling, texturing, rigging, and animation, as well as sprite animation and Flash. We also study cinematography, acting, sculpture, writing, and music. :3 Junior and Senior year we work on animation shorts, as well as studying other things I've not studied yet, like basic basic programming.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. The BFA from Digipen is supposed to set up the student for a career in the gaming industry, etc... ^^
