It's a little late, but I finally finished dolphin boi's boofdei drawing;;;It took me /forever/ to do the linework on this not to mention getting the Japanese characters right. /shivers

Well, the characters for 'jou bi' are the same for 'shen ri' in Chinese, which still mean birthday, so I understand that much.
Can't read a lick of Japanese though.

The only Chinese sign I know is "tree", and that's because it basically is a tree. But I have some Chinese characters as decoration on my door. The German translations say "luck", "satisfaction" and "harmony", though I'm not sure if the symbols are accurate and I have no way of checking. Chinese looks waaayyy too complicated!

I have no idea how to pronounce it. Basically the "T" with those two bend streaks that come down from the middle of the top part.
Because it was my mom who decorated my room while I was away with the scouts. For most Germans Chinese characters are used as decoration because almost none of us can actually read them and they just look beautiful to us.

Concerning the "beautiful" part, since we can't read them, Chinese symbols look like drawings to us.
