Description I hadn't intended to post this picture, but I liked how it looked in my journal's header, so here goes.

This is in Jemmayzeh, Beirut. Only by looking upwards can you now discern this town's old flavor. Lower your head and all you'll see around are pubs and bars with slanky names and modern vibes.

I'd rather keep looking upwards.

Really nice take on a detail of daily life This inspires me. I love urban safaris but the problem is I never "finish" a street, there's always new details to grab
